There are only a couple of reason why you clicked through to read this article. A) You have kids and they still enjoy reading the books and watching the cartoons made popular by Jan and Stan Berenstain or B) You have a morbid sense of curiosity and just had to see what all the hubbub is about.
Either way, the news is true; Coming Soon points to a report from USA Today stating that Walden Media has bought the movie rights to produce The Berenstain Bears movie adaptation. The film will be a comedy with a mix of live-action and CGI (of course it will). No 3D has been announced yet, but just wait, it won’t be far behind, I’m sure.
On top of grabbing a rather obscure childrens’ property (maybe obscure isn’t the right word, let’s say ‘lesser-known children’s property’) like the Berenstain Bears,

Big Screen Tower of Terror Being Erected by Disney?

The original plan with all of these Disney films based on theme park attractions was apparently to make the attractions appealing again, to drive up attendence to the parks. For better and worse, I guess it didn’t really work out that way. The Country Bears movie probably did the attraction’s reputation harm, The Haunted Mansion is probably not worth bringing up even, and Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow so comprehensively hijacked the very notion of Pirates of Caribbean, became the face of the concept in such an immediate and powerful way that a ride without his likeness won’t ever feel really connected to the film franchise. But wow - what a money spinner those Pirates films proved to be.
According to Bloody Disgusting, Disney are setting up to give the concept another go, with a big screen movie derived from their Tower of Terror. Unfortunately, there

Anonymous sources dug up by the scary folks over at Bloody-Disgusting claim that Disney Studios is in the early stages of developing a feature film based on their California Disney World attraction "Tower of Terror". The theme park ride, set inside a hotel with a haunted back-story, would be the latest attempt the Disney Corp. has made towards adapting their rides into feature films. We all know about the "Pirates of the Caribbean" phenomenon of course, but there was also a movie with Eddie Murphy called "Haunted Mansion" and something called "The Country Bears" -- If you saw it that makes one of us. The "Tower of Terror" film would follow a group of strangers who "enter a bizarre world where nothing is as it seems. And if there is a more apt description of visiting Disney World then I haven't heard it. But before you get too

Why should you buy the soundtracks of Christopher Young? Well, for instance the music is quite good on some of them. And if you want to have more fun with the release, check out the tracklisting. You're bound to find somehing along the lines of "Accelerated Brundle Disease" or "Dancing With a Wet Handkerchief on Your Mother's Grave". But wait, there's more! The CD of Hush for intance contains the following titles: "Hush", "Little Baby", "Don't You Cry", "Mama's Gonna Buy", "You", "A". It's all fun. If you pay close attention, you might also find that several Young releases contain pun homages to famous composers as well. Below I've gathered all I could find, now it's up to you to guess which composers are referenced in the track titles. I might add that some of them are only guesses and I couldn't find references some of Young's biggest works
