Good concert with excellent DVD extras, 5 November 2002
9/10
Author: joltjohn from Winnipeg, Canada

I found this concert okay to watch, but really excellent to listen to on my 5.1 system. The most emotional song was "TWO BEDS AND A COFFEE MACHINE" and the most enjoyable to was :chained to me". THis concert contains all of their hits 1. THE BEST THING 2.BREAK ME SHAKE ME. 3. TO THE MOON AND BACK 4. THE LOVER AFTER ME 5. I DON'T KNOW YOU ANYMORE 6. SANTA MONICA 7. TWO BEDS AND A COFFEE MACHINE 8. YOU CAN STILL BE FREE 9. THE ANIMAL SONG 10. HOLD ME 11. GUNNING DOWN ROMANCE 12. CRASH AND BURN 13. TRUELY MADLY AND DEEPLY 14. CHAINED TO YOU 15. I WANT YOU 16. I KNEW I LOVED YOU 17. AFFIRMATION The DVD extra are great. There are band commentary on some of the songs. some songs you can change your view of the performance, a documentary on the band and music videos for "I knew i loved you", "crash and burn", and "affirmation". The concert 7/10 nothing really special to look at but great to listen to on a 5.1 system. The extras 10/10 for the variety of things. overall 8/10.

Loved this concert, as I was there while it was being filmed. You have to see them preform to even begin to understand the kind of artists they are...As one of the few existing concert videos, it is Darren Hayes and Daniel Jones at their best, right before the duo called it quits...:D

i thought that this tour was brilliant i have it on DVD I'm a massive fan of Darren Hayes and i have seen him in concert he is amazing i'm a member on loads of his sites anyway about the tour i think it amazing it's got what i think are savage gardens best songs and the extras on the DVD are brilliant especially the music videos but for me the show was a reason to see Darren in tight trousers anyway i would give it 10/10 and this is because the performance and songs just blow you away they put their heart and soul into the performances. Superstar's and Cannonballs, 10 November 2005
9/10

This recording is the longest piece on Savage Garden available. It chart's the band on their globe-topping tour at the height of their career just after their second (and ultimate as a due o) album 'Affirmation' was released. The stage show is packed full of energy and it contains interesting little quips from various people, including the light show techs.

The cinematography isn't necessarily anything to scream about but it's a definite 'must see' for Savage Garden fans and serves now as a nostalgic look at the lively fascinating stage show the bands were so well known for.
