Often a very funny show, That's My Bush is only a tad better than it's garbage twin Son of the Beach (which, shame on American buyers, is coming to DVD). A parody of George W. Bush Jr. that exploits (and insults) his general lackluster intelligence, his staff (wife and mother included), and how hard it is trying to be loose and irresponsible while running the United States of America.
The political humor is great, however tame it is. Princess was a riot, Maggie was fun, and Timothy Bottoms as Bush was our favorite impotent cutie-pie. But, it seriously needed a harder satirical edge. And the concept of satire is something creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone would sooner fart at then consider an option in designing a television show for their viewing roster of waste-oids and wino's. So, it's funny but it's too nice and also doesn't distribute jokes evenly. That's too important to be missing.
