Just read the Bill Bryson book on traveling in Australia, and wanted to see what it looked like. This movie (found at my library) did more than show me the outback from a travelers point of view. This movie also showed me the two cultures inhabiting this large country. I am not sure how true to life the people are, cause I have never been there. But it didnt seem too off key in relation too the books descriptions. another plus was the cinamatography was fun. great native critter photography. was worth watching just for these aspects.
