a great 'sequel' to the first masterwork, 'The Birth', 21 February 2007
10/10
Author: luigiavatars from United Kingdom

I do not like movies with gratuitous violence, blood etc,but I dislike even more : boring and insipid movies. I really like and respect this movie, one of the greatest I could see! This one should not be shown to kids...it is a terrifying movie, with high levels of violence, but ,like 'Devilman: The Birth' is ,again ,a masterwork of Japanese animation. The plot is very gripping and emotional, you get to see such terrifying ugliness in the monsters,as well as nobility of the soul of the main character. Right from the start,I was glued to my chair, the first part of the movie is highly dramatic,so well made. I can't spoil it here, nor I would. Then after 'the first part' ,the movie keeps growing and growing...you gotta see it for yourself. The Italian dubbing is so powerful and natural,as if the movie was created along with the dubbing. Really great dubbing. The music is great, and the animation is amongst the best you'll see anywhere. If you are a 'best movie hunter',or if you, like me,don't ever have the time to see an insipid, poor movie or a bad one, then you cannot afford to miss this one,as well as 'Devilman: Birth' . Two truly high quality realizations of Go Nagai's imagination. Highly recommended
