Trivia:
Midway through the game, the player becomes stuck on an island, and the only way to coninue on is by entering a three digit code into the Sub-C's computer. However, in order to access the code, the player was required to lightly wetten a specific page in the game's instruction manual, revealing it. Naturally, if the instruction manual had been lost, damaged or otherwise rendered unusable, then the only way to continue was through frustrating experimentation until the proper code was input: 747.

Startropics had it all. If you EVER played a NES game, this would have to be it. It expanded past the realm of any other game. From the begining of the story on C-Island to the fight of the Octopus to becoming a girl to the secret message on the letter (something no other game has EVER done) to the organ puzzle to EVERYTHING! And then to have the great epic climatic battle with Core Control and Zoda! And the ending. This is, by the way, the only video game where the music is so beautiful it makes you want to cry. This game is great! Play it!
