Nothing to say about the movie... it's incredible, scenes, music ,actors everything... the plot is the Collodi novel and Benigni put it on the screen...no more, is like a present to Fellini and Collodi together, every word of the poem and every episode is on the screen as normally a kid used to imagine! The actors are the best on Italian scene and they are great, Benigni himself is the perfect Pinocchio. The guidelines that the society gives us we follow to be human and normal, Pinocchio is a Wood poppet and he breaks every rules when he sees them. The end for me is sad (like in the book!). But the shadow... It's a little bit boring like every fairy tail for kids, but it's at the same time wonderful and make you dream for a while than the plot follows perhaps too much the Collodi's novel and you already knows everything!!!! That's the problem, is PINOCCHIO 100%... if you like pinocchio u will like even the movie otherwise not! Roberto Benigni is magic more than in LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL (LA VITA E' BELLA). C ya.
