Typical Skinemax stuff, 28 July 2005
3/10
Author: J. D.

Typical Skinemax stuff about gym workers who use a mind-control device on their clients to keep them, ah, coming back (so to speak). The gizmo looks like a really huge TV remote, and it emits gamma rays (or whatever) that overheat a recipient's libido in short order. Hot nekkid action ensues.

For a movie created solely to fill the 2:30 a.m. cable TV time slot, it could be a lot worse. It aims to be lighthearted — never mind that most of the jokes are too lame to work. The women are mostly attractive (by Cinemax standards, anyway), and spend much of the film naked, partially naked or in the act of disrobing. The director had the good sense to give B-movie starlet Jacqueline Lovell a couple of sexy scenes. Acting and directing are both atrocious, yet not unforgivable when it comes to late-night smut. The nicest thing is the movie doesn't take itself seriously — it's a cheesy, low-rent Weird Science knockoff with its heart in the right place.
