I should have seen "Star Trek Nemesis" again. But no, I chose to see the world's hottest chambermaid in this digested burrito of a movie. There is absolutely nothing smart, funny or well written in it. All the dialogue is forced and stupid. So JLo couldn't say to Ralph that she's a maid trying on clothes right away? It seemed pretty clear, at least in that scene, that he was attracted. But no, we get this dumb plot point driving an already awful film. Such a missed opportunity for a hard edged comedy-drama, too, given the material, but JLo wouldn't handle it. I mean, look at "Angel Eyes."
To top off all the nonsense we get a precocious 10 year old who unbelievably likes the 70s. Give me a break. And Natasha Richardson was even more annoying than the kid. Almost saving this toilet scum are Stanley Tucci and Bob Hoskins in thankless roles. The main reason they stand out is because they are excellent actors, and emote a certain realism in a been-there-done-that-chick-flick. I'd feel bad for both of 'em if it weren't for the fact that they worked with JLo. I managed to get through the agony til the end, to see it capped off by a poorly crafted magazine cover montage. One cover showed she became a manager, back at the hotel where she was fired! Makes no sense. What a f--king nightmare. Thank god JLo is JLo hot.
GAHHHHH! I really wanted to see Captain Picard crash the Starship Enterprise into the damn Hotel!!!!!!
