The hardest thing to do it seems for most indie filmmakers is to make a movie that has the look and storyline of the studio films. Ivan Rogers did it! Playing a former hitman who seeks to avenge the murder of his younger brother, this autuer managed to pull off a film that looks great, sounds great and keeps you wondering what's going to happen next. As Father Virgil Mr. Rogers made feel the quiet rage underneath his collar. While I would have liked to know more about Virgil before he became a priest, the story moves right to the suspense and gritty feel of film noir. Great performances by the actor who plays the gangster son of Charles Napier, and a fantastic performance by Napier himself. Even the bungling hoods make you feel that this film is real! Don't miss a chance to see this hidden gem of a picture. I definetly would like to see more pics from this man.
