• When you are in the dark, you are provided with a "Touch" command instead of the normal "Look" command. Try choosing "Touch" and then click on Sophia. She will slap you and say "Watch those hands, buster!"
  
  
• The LucasArts logo can be seen several times in the Knossos labyrinth, depicted on walls.
  
  
• By choosing "Look" on the shelf in Indy's office, he will comment on some of the artifacts on the shelf. There is a Thugee idol from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, a purple glowing meteor from Maniac Mansion (another LucasArts adventure game), and letters from Indy's dad to the school board in which Indy will comment that they all begin with the phrase "Regarding Henry", a reference to the film starring Harrison Ford.
  
  
• One of the items Omar offers is a baseball he claims is signed by Lou Gehrig, but when Indy examines it he says, "It's signed by some guy named Ron Gilbert". Ron Gilbert is the creator of the Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island series, as well as the SCUMM game engine, which most LucasArts adventure games use.
  
  
• There are references to every Indiana Jones film in the game (except for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), which was made after this game): - In the Algerian dig site, there is a depiction of the Ark of the Convenant from Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) on one of the walls (Indy aptly remarks that he has seen that before). The giant stone boulder that features in the labyrinth on Crete is another reference to this movie. - On the shelf in Indy's office at Barnett College, their is a Thugee idol. The Thugees were Indy's adversaries in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984). - In one of the Atlantean chambers, there is a stone cup to which Indy remarks that it is definitely not the cup of a carpenter, a reference to the Holy Grail from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). The "X marks the spot" on Crete is another nod to this movie.
