The usual nutcase escapes(as usual) from the usual mental hospital. The usual small town cops do their usual bumbling as the usual idiots are massacred in the usual style while the usual blonde in the usual peril screams her head off...as usual.
The only remotely UNusual element here is the false-protagonist "twist" near the end, which is entirely unsatisfying. Despite a few moments of fairly potent violence, DEADLY INTRUDER is a cliché-ridden, barely marginal outing from the high tide of similar fare offered up during the 80s. When a film presents Danny Bonaduce for star power, you know your in for a real sh--ty little cupcake. Forgettable, common, and pretty crummy...avoid. 3.5/10
