SciFi writer and director J.A. Steel brings news of the success of her recent indie feature film, Denizen.

On November 21, 2009, “Denizen: Special Access J.A. Steel” will be honored by the Nevada Film Festival with a Silver Screen award in the Short Film Competition. The short was filmed during the post production of the “Denizen” feature, with director J.A. Steel and editor Wayne Rawley.

“Denizen” is the story of a group of scientists that must destroy a creature that is terrorizing a small town.
