Take the risks the director took and enjoy - Fascinating, Engrossing, Mesmerising, Beautiful

I have read other reviews and I find the reviews fall in to two categories. The first category are those viewers who wanted a beginning a middle and an end without any confusing plot roles. While there are the rest of us, me included obviously, who found a film that grabs a mesmerising but mysterious plot and applied many contemporary issues around it.

I found this film amazing and if it was conventional covering conventional themes in an almodovar case where the subject area can be disturbing but has realistic elements - then many would have liked this film. Instead the subject matter dealt with in this film can appear insulting to some people who don't feel it is realistic.

This is where film becomes film and this is why this is an expert piece of film making.

The story involves a plot that is unknown to the regular viewer and it is a journey and it is a beautiful journey one is taken on. Very much on the sphere of Inarritu and Amenabar but this film does take risks and on that level it is understandable that many will not like this film.

As the case goes though, if you are on the ride and you accept the risks taken - you will enjoy this film very much so.
