Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Although clearly set in Portland, Oregon, Milo and Lisa are shown pumping their own gas, which is against the law in Oregon. However, since they aren't yet on the run, they might be across the river in Vancouver, Washington.
Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Winston uses IP addresses in the private Class A net 10. This can be accepted as the Internet equivalent of a "555" telephone number. Because of schedule pressure and other plot points, they are indeed likely to be using a largely standard protocol, and not a purely proprietary one.
Continuity: In the daycare center, Phil puts the swinging truck-shaped mouse back on the table in one direction, but in the next scene it is facing the opposite direction.
Factual errors: Milo would not have been able to enter the Department of Justice Building without Lyle Barton knowing; the security officials would have informed Barton of Milo's entrance, and Barton would have had to clear Milo.
Continuity: When Milo performs the scratch test at dinner, he quickly pulls his sleeve forward so that Rebecca will not notice. However, when Milo pours the wine for a toast, his sleeve is pushed up. When they raise their glasses for the toast, his sleeve is pulled back to the normal position.
Continuity: The surveillance recording of Teddy's killing does not match the event as we saw it earlier.
Continuity: When Bob comes back to his office where Milo is waiting, Milo asks him if "everything was ok." When he says that, he puts is elbow on the arm of the chair, but when the camera shows him from a different angle, his arm is down and then he puts if back on the arm of the chair as if he had not done that before.
Revealing mistakes: In the scene after Milo leaves Building 21 the first time, he's standing outside under the shadow of the mouse satellite dish. The shadow from the satellite dish is cast to the right of the screen, while Milo's shadow is cast to the left. This could only happen with two light sources, and even then, there would be two shadows.
Revealing mistakes: At Milos workstation in Nurv, what is supposed to be his computer, is actually a UPS (Uninteruptable Power Supply).
