If no one in Springville ever gets sick or gets old, why exactly is there a hospital there? Why not just truck sick people directly to the Spring? Kyle MacLaughlin plays "Dad" in his best Fred McMurray manner, right down to calling his son "sport" and "kiddo." I especially enjoy what happens when the Springvillians stop "drinking the water--" as they age, their skin takes on the texture of fried chicken. "What about the Great Depression-- was it really that depressing?!" A nice feelgood corny cheeseball thriller that you can watch late at night and pick on.
