  • Continuity: The robot (Kay Em-14) states that the KryoGenic-unit was manufactured in 2010. Later the same robot says that "she" (Rowan) has been "down" (frozen) for "4.55 centuries". Finally it's stated that the year is 2455, meaning that the machine was manufactured only 4.45 centuries ago, not 4.55.

  • Continuity: When the ship crashes into Solaris station, it looses its port pontoon. Later, when Kimsa attempts to launch the shuttle, both pontoons appear intact.

  • Continuity: When Jason is sneaking up behind Crutch, the position of his headphones changes between shots.

  • Revealing mistakes: When all of Rowan's clothes are removed from her frozen body, the outline of a strapless bra can be seen under the metal blanket. It is also seen later when she sits up and the metal blanket slips a little bit.

  • Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Adrienne removes Jason's left eye, which can later be seen again. However as explained at the beginning Jason has the ability to regenerate damaged tissue, which could include the removed eye..

  • Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Jason has no VR gear (like Dallas and Azrael's visors and controls), so he shouldn't be able to interact with any of the simulations. Jason does however has a ability to interact with the ships computer on a different level, as seen when he activates the Medical "Ant's" to assist in reconstructing his body, and he overrides the Abort.

  • Incorrectly regarded as goofs: When Kay-Em is fighting Jason, she both blinks and flinches when shooting, and groans in pain when receiving blows from Jason. These are not android traits. However, since she has already demonstrated her desire to be "real" (she tried to give herself nipples, don't forget),it's reasonable that she would have her programming upgraded to include more human-like traits and reactions.

  • Continuity: When Kinsa gets Stoney's blood splattered on her face, it is everywhere, but in the next shot when she's in the hallway, it is only on her shirt and her face is perfectly clean.

  • Continuity: When Dallas and Azrael come out of the VR game, the wide shot shows that they are holding the VR controls in their hands. When it cuts to a close-up of Azrael, the control is suddenly on the ground.

  • Continuity: When Jason slams Dallas's head against the wall, he slams him nose first, but when it goes to the side shot Dallas's cheek is against the wall.

  • Continuity: When Kay-Em jumps on the platform while attacking Jason, she is shown crouched down and says "Hey!" and she is clearly missing her black latex gloves, but in the next shot the gloves are back on.

  • Revealing mistakes: When Kay-Em kicks Jason in the face during the fight sequence, you can see Kane's goatee.

  • Continuity: When Kay-Em is shown firing at Jason with the two pistols her arms are straight out in front of her, but in the shot from below her elbows are bent and she's firing from waist height. In the next shot, her arms have returned to being straight out.

  • Continuity: When Jason throws the machete through the recently upgraded android, there is a side on shot of the android with the blade protruding out of her back. She is clearly not wearing any sort of back pack. However in the very next shot of her from the front you can see the holster that is holding her rifle, securely fastened to her back.

  • Factual errors: When Jason is outside the ship and punches the hole to get back inside, the crew rushes to the door and close it because the lack of pressure is causing them to be sucked out of the ship. They go through several rooms and close multiple doors. Yet when Jason rips through the final door, there's no sudden rush of air, no loss of cabin pressure, even though there would be a continuous path to the broken outer wall of the ship.

  • Continuity: After Jason throws his machete through Kay-Em, you can see behind Jason there is a tunnel, which they are both outside of. When Kay-Em starts kicking him they are both halfway through the tunnel.

  • Continuity: When they crash the ship into the Solaris you see the back part of the ship slide over the Solaris' glass sphere. When it cuts half the ship is sliding over the sphere.

  • Continuity: When the android steps up to fight Jason the first time, he throws his machete at her and hits her square in the chest. For the rest of the movie there is no hole in her jumpsuit.

  • Continuity: When Azreal picks up the frozen coffee cup, it gets stuck to his hand. When he first picks it up, it is attached to his hand straight up and down, but in the next few shots, it is crooked.

  • Continuity: When Uber Jason is about to kill the two VR girls, they climb into their sleeping bags, but do not zip the sleeping bags. When Uber Jason grabs the girl's bag up and starts pounding her, both of the sleeping bags are zipped all the way.

  • Continuity: After Kay-Em blasts Jason's leg off, in following shots the position of the leg differs.

  • Continuity: As Kay-Em repeatedly kicks Jason, between shots the amount of blood on his machete varies.

  • Continuity: After removing Jason's mask, Adrienne puts the scalpel down on the metal table. In the next shot it is in a different position.

  • Plot holes: When the film opens, Jason is bound and restrained in an empty room. After killing the six security guards and appearing in the hallway, he chases after Rowan with a machete. Where'd he get this? All the guards had guns, and the rest of the room was completely barren.

  • Revealing mistakes: When one officer is thrown onto the giant drill bit, blood splatters up before he reaches it.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Kay-Em's nipples fall off, they make a metallic sound when they hit the floor. Since they were supposed to be like the real thing, they would have been made of the same material the rest of her skin was made of, which would not have made such a noise.

  • Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Jason's mask is removed after his arrival in 2455, his face is revealed to be grotesquely gruesome, with a noticeably protruding jaw. However, through the rest of the film, it is obvious that this cannot be the face that is behind the hockey mask. When seen up close, Jason's eyes (both his good eye and bad eye) are revealed to be much more human-looking, as are his facial features around his eyes and around the mask. His jaw is also not protruding as conspicuously with the mask on.

  • Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Rowen is asking Tsaunaron why he said "whoops", she first says "whoops", then she says he said "oops".
