The film featured 55 "spot removal artists". In order to make the dalmatian without spots, "Oddball", completely white, the production team tried putting make-up on the dogs, trying to paint off the spots, putting plain white suits on the dogs, finding another breed of dog, none of this worked so eventually the spots had to be removed digitally, erased in each shot. more
Goofs:
Continuity: Just before Kevin and Chloe leave the house for their dinner date, the music that plays from the video the dogs are watching is the overture "Love Is A Song" from Bambi (1942). When the television screen is shown later, however, the dogs are watching Lady and the Tramp (1955). more

In this sequel to the 1996 hit, Cruella De Vil [Glenn Close] once again tries to capture the puppies and make a coat out of them with help from a fur designer. While more enjoyable and cute than the lame 1996 original, the movie is also much scarier. A lot of parents in the audience took their crying kids out during scenes when the puppies were in peril. It would have been better off with a PG rating.
