As in many LucasArt games, this game features several references to Star Wars (1977). Most obvious are the calendar with the Darth Vader picture in Dr. Fred's office (if you look at it, Bernard remarks that "it's a calendar from my favorite movie"); Bernard's exclamation while reading the dates off the quarters he is picking up ("Ooh! 1977!" The year of Star Wars' release); the Stormtrooper helmet in the room where Bernard finds Green Tentacle; and several lines of dialogue (e.g. "Help us, Dr Edison. You're our only hope!"). moreQuotes:

Though the statement above probably sounds a bit cliched and exaggerated, it's entirely the truth. DOTT is well-animated, hilarious, and a blast to play. It's got a ton of killer lines in it too, like "You know what they say; If you wanna save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs!"
Find this game and buy it if you can. Better yet, get the first LucasArts Entertainment Pack. You'll be up to your eyes in funny adventures!
