Season 1, Episode 1: Pilot

Liz Parker is an average teenager, until one day she is shot during an altercation at the Crashdown café, where she works. A fellow classmate named Max Evans rushes to her side and miraculously saves her from death. Liz later learns that Max, along with his sister Isabel and their friend Michael Guerin, are not really from around here. To be exact, Max, Isabel and Michael are aliens, who are survivors of the 1947 UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico. But, Max, Isabel and Micheal's secret is not totally safe, as the local Sheriff, Jim Valenti is beginning to suspect something is amiss.

"Roswell" (1999): Season 1: Episode 2 -- Liz tries to maintain her relationship with Kyle, after Max has saved her life, and she sees Ms. Topolsky snooping in Michael's file. Michael tries to find out about other aliens in Roswell when he starts seeing mysterious scenes.

One of Jesse's old college friends (who also happens to be a reporter) turns up at Isabel and Jesse's house looking for a story. The narrative takes two paths. One path follows Isabel and Jesse in their 'normal' roles, Isabel hiding her powers from both Jesse and their unwanted guest. The other path is what would happen if Jesse knew about Isabel's powers and 'Roswell' was a sitcom from the 1960s. The latter a spoof of both 'I dream of genie' and 'Bewitched.' Tensions rise as both Jesse and his buddy get closer and closer to the aliens' secrets.
