I was looking forward to this movie for about a week before it originally aired, because of the, what I thought to be, clever previews. It looked really good. A lot of times, I like made for tv movies that premiere on USA, TNT, etc, because they're not all about making tons of money at the box office. I saw the movie the first airing, and I was looking forward to something really good. What I got was a good movie with some very big plot holes. I mean, it took them all that time to connect the garden" to Nelson's character? Yea right....and as for the end of the movie. No way. He would have been caught. They just took it for granted that he was under the water, dead, and they left it all at that. If the writer would have thought of a better way to work out those two plot points, the movie would have been a great movie, instead of a good movie. I thought Nelson did a superb job, and I loved his character. I found myself liking him, even tho he killed young women! I did actually like the final scene, where he had blonde hair, and was talking to another woman about a new idea for a script...even tho it was fake. As for the film overall, I like the underwater scenes, but I wish we could have seen more kidnappings, instead of just the main one. One more thing, wasn't the main female character, the girl from Foxfire...wasn't her dummy ugly? She's no beauty queen herself, far from it, but her dummy was just hideous.
