When I saw this movie in a german theme park recently I just wanted to scream. Not because of amazement as the 4 and 5 year olds behind me did, but because of disgust. This movie is as funny as every Leslie Nielsen that was released in the last 5 years. Which means: not at all. I mean, okay it is a 3D (or 4D they can't really decide) movie and isn't supposed to write movie history and delight critics. It exists to have some fun while you're in a theme park, but this is no fun if you're older than 5. You know right from the start that you get wind in your face, buzzing from your seat and water from the ceiling. How exciting. The 3D effects are so rare that most of the time nothing happens in the movie. Except Leslie Nielsen being not funny.
It's not that I am against such 3D movies. I have seen good ones too. But this is just dumb and boring.
