Trivia:
The original plan was to have death as a much more obvious entity in the film as it was in Tod's death (with Tod seeing a shadow in the mirror and the water running back into the toilet to "cover it's tracks"). After Tod's death it was decided to have the deaths simply as accidents.

Goofs:
Plot holes: After the plane crash, as the parents start entering the waiting room, Clear is looking around for someone, obviously troubled that nobody is there to pick her up. But later in the movie, she tells Alex first that her parents are dead, and then that her father is dead and she has no contact with her mother, and she apparently lives alone. So who was she waiting for?

Quotes:
Tod Waggner:
We say that the hour of death cannot be forecast. But when we say this, we imagine that the hour is placed in an obscure and distant future. It never occurs to us that it has any connection with the day already begun, or that death could arrive this same afternoon - this afternoon which is so certain, and which has every hour filled in advance.

This is without a doubt the best horror movie I have seen in the 90's so far. It is everything you could ever want. It has great acting. A great story. The atmosphere is creepy and real. Not to mention the death scenes are original and quite gross. They leave many disturbing images in you head. I don't want to give away anything. It's worth every dollar I spent on seeing it. I might just go see it again. Final Destination is movie making at it's finest.
