I was in a Special Forces Unit in Nam. Our friendships we established were first and foremost, our primary reason for risking our lives. To defend each other...our country...our freedom. When the lead actor (Fitzpatrick) is faced with the murder of his wife, his friends step up to defend him. That's what we did.
No stars, no over the top heroics. Just realistic and practical. One of the very action films I've seen in my life time that were as eerily close as this one to being accurate. One can squabble over the dialogue throughout the film, but as with any story there has to be a set backdrop for characters to become real to us. You have to know a little about these guys before you can really feel for them. It's what movies have to do so we root for them. This particular film is truly a great one. The last scene depicts what every combat vet knows and feels, as we took to the battle field. Kill or be killed. Hunt, or be hunted. Live, or die...like our motto, "Kill'em all, let God sort'em out."
