Hey now, this movie had some potential that gets immediately trashed when the makers start trying to do too much. A bunch of teens from Sasquatch High (yeah, really) head up to the mountains on a field trip and either they tangle with real sasquatches or this whole thing is in this girl's head, and the problem is you're never sure which it is. There's this girl with an over-active imagination who's busy hanging out with her shrink, in a straitjacket, or running through the woods in her panties and you're never sure if any of it (except maybe the psychiatrist part) is real. And are the alleged sasquatches supposed to be some kind of allegory for her getting molested by her stepfather, or did that even happen? Who the heck knows, but all I can say is the longer this rambled on the more confusing it became, and the less watchable and enjoyable, etc. Stacey Keach & Billy Dee Williams must be hurting for roles these days because they have small parts in this. Overall this is a waste of time and could have been much better if they'd focused on something, anything, for more than a couple minutes. 3 out of 10 stars.
