Trivia:
Megumi and Kaoru have the nicknames Kitsune (Fox) and Tanuki (Racoon Dog). In Japanese folklore, the Kitsune and Tanuki are thought of as "dangerous spirits". The Kitsune is said to often take on the form of a bewitching woman who seduces and tricks unworthy men, whilst protecting and rewarding deserving people. These are the two very different attitudes Megumi holds towards Sanosuke and Kenshin. The Tanuki, on the other hand, is said to also take on the form of a woman, but is regarded as much more playful and mischievous than the judgmental Kitsune.

Quotes:
Misao Makimachi:
[punches Kenshin] How do you like that!
Kenshin Himura: [confused] How do I like what?
Misao Makimachi: Unbelievable, my attacks aren't working on him. He must be some kind of monster.
Kenshin Himura: You're just too light. Even if you did connect it wouldn't do anything.

The stories of Kenshin are extremely varied. The OAVs are massively violent and deal mostly with the serious side of Kenshin. Next, when you come to the first few episodes of the tv series, there is the 'ORO' extreme, or the funny side of Kenshin. but then, later in the series, it gets completely serious again. I haven't seen all the episodes, but i like the funny Kenshin.
Anyways this is a great show, but it looks like they switched styles halfway through. They need to bring the ORO back!
