And to be fair bombs!. This film compared to a lot of Dolphs films was below par like a few of his more recent films, having said that it was better than alot of B-movie actions especially ones that revolve around aviation. The plot is pretty decent with a few twists although it was still far from original, still any action film that comes out these days is a been there done that scenario for the viewer. Directer Tony Hickox directs with a bit of flair and puts a bit of style in the action, there is alot of slo-mo and the whole film looks quite slick and polished almost trying to convince you the budget and production were above megre.Dolph Lundgren puts in a great performance by his standards and leads the line well, and he is starting to look like a seasoned pro in his films, with his performances usually taking centre stage and stealing the show (or perhaps it is because he is working with poor actors), his on screen presence is superb and is a real good hero figure and Dolphs stature and on-screen charisma combined are only beaten action wise by Arnie in his movies. The support cast are generally good notably from Robert Miano as the general and Mystro Clark as the comedy sidekick who is a poor mans Eddy Murphy or Chris Tucker or basically any Black guy who adds the comedy to a big budget action movie, the wife played by model Kylie Bax is excruciating to be perfectly honest, she shows little in the way of acting talent and the only way she could have saved herself would have been to get her kit off, but no it wasn't to be. All in all this was pretty average but i found it watchable if only because Dolph is grade A hero material and is a likeable good guy, and why on Earth this warranted an R rating is beyond me there was little swearing and the violence wasn't in any way grotesque, they have basically graded this film out of the age group that would enjoy this most, the immature ages of 13-17.
