...Well, not having seen the end of this movie, it is safe to say that I really don't have to. But I would like to.
The other day I caught this on USA Network, and was unable to stay up to finish watching it. My wife, however, still up with our daughter did catch it all. Okay, so the next day she tells me she did watch it all...and I start drilling her with questions: Who is the killer? What is the motive? Blah Blah Blah! Well, I had already figured out my own conclusion to the film, and was dead right. So do I think the film is predictable: Yes! Was it well acted: Yeah!? Was Brittany good in it: Somewhat.
While turning the tables on the formula of 90's type slasher films, this one takes a turn, and targets virgins, not the other way around.
Not better than Scream, but better than Valentine, Urban Legend 2, Scream 3, and many of the other copycat films that came out in the 90's.
I just want to say something, though. People keep saying this followed all the Scream copycats, which is some senses it did...but HELLO!!!! scream was not an original film either...It ripped off all the slasher films from the late 70's (Halloween) and the 80's (Halloween sequels, Friday the 13th, nightmare on Elm St.).
Still not a horrible movie (Valentine), so check it out!
