Great game, ahead of its time, 1 February 2003

Outlaws was one of the best first-person shooter (FPS) games ever made. A product of LucasArts, it featured a few technical innovations -- expansive outdoor areas, for instance -- but its best features were the storyline (lone man must track down the men who killed his wife and kidnapped his daughter), the music (by Clint Bajakian), and the voice acting. (Richard Moll -- bailiff Bull Shannon from TV sit-com "Night Court" in particular did an excellent job.)
Technologically dated, but it was a real classic.

This is one of the best games on the PC. Not because of its graphics or gameplay but because of the story. You actually feel you are playing the character and with the addition of the great storyline and wonderful music. It is hard to resist buying a six-shooter and moving west.
