Plot holes: An autopsy on a human takes several hours. Being that this is supposedly an alien, they would have taken extra time to be more thorough than usual. But look at the clock on the back wall. moreFAQ

This is supposedly a videotape that was made in the 1940s to document an alien autopsy. If so, then we have serious problems. The doctors behave more like barely-decent actors than medical professionals. They make many errors that show that they know little about autopsies. Another problem is that the the quality of the footage is very poor for something purporting to show an the dissection actual extraterrestrial being. I would have expected it to be in color (still a novelty in the 1940s).
One important question is: if this an extraterrestrial that evolved independently light-years away, why does it bear such a striking resemblance to a deformed human child? While humanoid aliens may be common in science fiction, the chances of encountering one in real life would be infinitesimal.
