Delightful, was it back in 1982, to watch the beautiful and pure face of the well known Dominique Dunne. An actress of many talents, she was the daughter of Dominick Dunne, who's career in court cases was started after the death of his daughter. Archive footage shows numerous points in Dominiques life in which she was happy. Other moments reveal the shocking truth of the matter, that not all was golden. John Sweeney, her murderous boyfriend was selfish, psychotic, and just plain stupid! he not only robbed the world of an absolutely brilliant actress, but robbed the Dunne family of their most prized possession. After two wonderful sons, Dominick, and Ellen Dunne wanted a little girl, and with years of patience and struggling, they were given one. Dominique Dunne will always remind us of what it is like to know aboutsomeone with such hope, and optimistic views on life. The danger of her life was that she could not see the terror behind the face of one she said she loved. "An American Tragedy" is one hell of a show, interviewing many of those she worked with in her short lived career. If Dominique was alive to this day, she would be the star of many different films, all award winners. Maybe LORD OF THE RINGS or something way out such as that. May you always dwell in our hearts Dear Dominique, and always fill us will the flow of inspiration you would still be spreading accross the land if you were alive today. We love you.
