• Continuity: When Joey parks his car in front of Kat's car outside the music shop, she is inline with his front wing, but when she reverses into it she hits the door.

• Factual errors: The poem that Kat reads in Mr. Morgan's English class towards the end of the film is titled "10 Things I Hate About You". It uses the word "hate" exactly 11 times and actually lists 13 disliked qualities.
  
  
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Joey Donner asks Bianca Stratford if she if going to Bogey Lowenstein's party, he clearly mistakenly says "Bogey Lowenbrownstein' instead of 'Bogey Lowenstein'.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: Just before Joey pulls up behind Kat's car, his red convertible can be seen reflected in the windows across the street as it sits waiting to enter the scene.
