Trivia:

Angelina Jolie did her own Bungee-Ballet, and according to an interview with her on the Jay Leno show, injured her ankle on the first take when landing on top of a chandelier went bad, so that part of the scene had to be done over again after she recovered.

Continuity: When Lara is fighting Simon the robot, and forces the saw into the ground, the stone cut is there before the saw strikes the ground.

Fine action movie

This is a good action movie. Certainly the dialogue is as good, or better, than most James Bond or Arnold Schwarzeneger movies. There are a couple of slow spots, but all in all, this was very entertaining. I'm NOT a Tomb Raider game player, so naming is rather irrelevant to me. Perhaps they ran into the problem that the name really exists, and to make it less liable for a lawsuit, they changed it. It happens, you know.
