Fun Stuff

Trivia:

Loosely based upon the real-life Pocahontas' trip to England. more

Goofs:

Anachronisms: When Mrs Jenkins is introduced to Pocahontas, she offers to "put on some tea". Tea is not known to have been drunk in England at the time the movie is set (it was introduced about 40 years later). Certainly it would not have been readily to hand in a typical English household. more

Quotes:

John Rolfe: Well, you didn't say, "Thank you," either. Whatever happened to manners and etiquette?
Pocahontas: Well, since you are new here I don't expect you to have them yet.

The 1st movie is nothing special, but this one... my goodness! The 1st one might be weak, but at least it has a much better story and a very superior artwork.

Although the original movie was never one of my Disney favorites, I was curious anyway to see how the story would end, hoping to see Pocahontas and John Smith living together and happy forever. Little did I know that I was only creating fake expectations.

In fact, what happens is the opposite. They do not stay together. Unfortunately the villain John Ratcliffe is back for revenge and becomes a major threat for John Smith. Apparently John Smith dies, but he doesn't (like the ending confirms).

Pocahontas seems to forget about him too quickly and then she simply joins another guy (John Rolfe). How I hated this! However, this is just the «break of the iceberg». Even worst that this bad story is the terrible artwork of this movie. In fact, the designs, the picture quality, the colors, the sceneries/backgrounds, the graphics (everything) is a total garbage. At least the first one has decent artwork and much more "life" than this.

This might seem strange, but I learned something with this movie: I learned that it is positively the worst Disney film ever made. I've seen some pretty bad ones by Disney, but none of them was as bad as this "thing". This is simply Disney at its worst.

Just to finish my comment, let me give a friendly advice to all of those who haven't seen this movie: don't waste your time, patience and money with this awful film. Don't make the same mistake I did. It's totally worthless.
