The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A woman lies on a bed naked (We see her rear briefly). A nude woman gets up and dons a robe (We see full nudity briefly, but it is in the background). Two men attempt to rape a fourteen-year old girl (No nudity is shown, and their attempt is thwarted; we see part of her shirt torn open however). Various sexual references and dialogue hint at male rape and lesbians. A woman breast feeds a child (No nudity is shown). Various women dance and kiss their boyfriends suggestively.

Violence & Gore

A group of gunmen ambush a man sitting in a car and open fire; the victim falls out of the car and attempts to stand up, before his assailants fire again (His body gyrates continiously and blood is seen spurting). We later see his corpse on the ground.

A man confronts two men who attempted to rape a young girl and threatens one continously; he holds a knife to his head, and then pulls out two guns and taunts him. He then asks the man which "nut" he wants to keep, and holds both guns to his crotch as the man wimpers continiously. The man then hits the man in the crotch with the pistols, and he screams in agony. A man is beaten and dragged into a bathtub (He bleeds profusely), and has a shotgun put to his head. His attackers prepare to kill him, but then later make the decision not to.

Two men fight, punching and throwing each-other continiously. A man has his head smashed through a glass window and is then thrown into a metal chair. A man is shot in the chest via shotgun (Blood spurts, and he moans in pain before dying). Multiple men hold guns to the head of a single man. A man punches another man in the face. A man is tackled to the ground, kicked and then slapped. Two men exchange fire in a house. Various gang members fire at two men; one of the men pulls out two pistols and returns fire, causing the attackers to flee for cover. A man points a gun at a woman who threatens him. Various men display guns throughout the film. A man comments on killing an individual after he gets out of an asylum.

A man in a wheelchair is thrown off the wheelchair, and then handcuffed; a man shoves a pen down his throat causing him to vomit drugs. Two police officers ambush three drug purchasers (Two are men, the third is a women) and hold guns to their heads before taking their money and narcotics. Various jokes and comments about murders and killings. A man throws another man onto a chair and pushes a shotgun into his face while three other men hold guns to the former's head. A man fakes a gun attack by shooting another man in the chest (He's wearing a bulletproof vest) twice. A man moans in pain and bleeds slightly after taking a bullet to the chest. A man holds another man at gunpoint. Various gang members are shown with guns and various other weapons.

Profanity

211 uses of "fuck", as well as many uses of the racial slur, "nigger." (Its mostly used casually, however). Many offensive terms are used, such as "dyke" (When describing a woman who might be a lesbian), "dick", and "bitch."

One character forces another to smoke marijuana (We later find out that its PCP, AKA: "Angel Dust"). After this scene, the character appears to be high for multiple scenes, seeing blurred images and not being able to think or react clearly. Many characters in the film steal, deal or use narcotics; many drug references (The main character of the film is a narcotics officer) to cocaine, marijuana, PCP etc. Characters smoke in multiple scenes of the film (Including the somewhat disturbing, forced inhaling of marijuana, mentioned above); characters drink and offer one another liquor and beer.

Many of the sequences in the film are extremely tense and violent; one example is a scene where a trio of gang members threaten and then beat a central character brutally, before throwing him into a bathtub and threatening to shoot him in the face with a shotgun. Many scenes feature violence or the threat of violence, and is a theme intregal to the film. Extremely intense and realistic in many respects.
