Before you get your hopes up.... No, I haven't seen this film :-(, 13 March 2005

I am itching to see this film.

I remember about 6 or 7 years ago, Terence Stamp was interviewed by Mark Cousins on the BBC. This film was mentioned and there were actually clips shown.

One showed Stamp hanging out of a helicopter, another walking alongside an active volcano and a third on a beach with water approaching him from all sides.

Cousins (who is an absolute movie geek but also a real film expert, unlike Barry Norman) said he has never seen the film nor does he know anyone who has seen it.

It appears that some people have seen this film because it has received votes.

Although this may be a vote based on what they have heard about the film's quality rather than through having seen it.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE contact me if you know how this film can be obtained.

I tried contacting Mark Cousins and even Terence Stamp's agent to find the whereabouts. I never got a reply from Cousins and unsurprisingly Stamp's agents couldn't help.

But I had to try...

I've seen Hu-Man 30 years ago, made a great impression on me, 15 August 2006
9/10

I give 9 out of 10 because I'm not sure the film has stand it through the years. Otherwise, in my memory, it's one my real favorite one. I remember that I was like hypnotized by this movie. It was also this film that made me adore Terence Stamp (he is so great in "the Hit" from Stephen Frears, another cult-movie for me). Some scenes are still alive in my mind. Especially when the whole world "prayes" to help the hero fly away through mind-force. It's a SF story but with a very particular mood. Calm, strange, soft, very bright lights. It's one of these movies that I really would like to see again (like "Brewster McCloud" or "Themroc" that i long to see again…). The story has something in common with "Zardoz" from John Boorman. This play with time, eternity, things happening softly, with no stress, no running, and so much weirdness. I also remember the music was aerial. I don't know if this movie is existing somewhere, if it can be seen or bought but I'd like to.
