Mild sexploitation from Sam Sherman and Al Adamson about small, tight-knit group of stewardesses who delight in their sexual misadventures. There's not much more in terms of story. It's mostly episodic stuff as the girls engage in various encounters. The main problem here is that for sexploitation this *is* ultimately too tame. Doses of sex and nudity are a little too low, although there's one carnal act aboard an airplane, near the beginning, that's highly amusing, and Marilyn Jois' poolside striptease is an undeniable highlight. But the movie tends to focus on the characters and their relationships, of all things! Come on, I think most of us just want to have a good time. The movie even goes so far as to try to come off as meaningful, and switches gears for an ill- conceived melodramatic finish that's at odds with the upbeat nature of the balance of the movie. And the decision to go with an aged actor named Bob Livingstone as a romantic lead comes off as a little too creepy given that the girl (gorgeous and appealing Connie Hoffman) he's paired with is young enough to be his granddaughter. In any event, the movie *is* quite likable for the most part. It goes on for quite a bit, but the engaging cast, especially the ladies (Hoffman, Joi, Donna Young, Sydney Jordan) make it still easy enough to watch. And supporting players Richard Smedley and Al Richardson put in good performances, with Livingston amiable enough to sort of counteract his miscasting. The music, credited to a group named Sparrow, is enjoyable with a catchy, 60's style credits song.Fairly entertaining if also disappointing.6/10
