Slickly made, fast paced and often scary & exciting sequel ignores three through six altogether and focuses squarely on Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis). Laurie this time around is a teacher at a private boarding school. She has faked her death and has started a new life under a new name with her son. However, the past is about to catch up with her as Mike Myers eventually finds her and it's a battle to the death. This entry could have used another rewrite, but as it is it has a good sense of humor and is directly to the point with Jamie Lee Curtis turning in one of the best performances of her career. Rated R; Violence and Profanity.
