Once in the henhouse, Rocky asks which bunk is his and all of the hens - who've been swooning over him - enthusiastically raise their hands (he ends up bunking, however, with Fowler).

In one of the scenes where Fowler is complaining about Americans, he says that they are "over sexed".

A hen is taken off to a room where we see an ax sticking out of an old tree stump. As we watch the reaction of the other hens, we hear the singular thump sound of the ax being used to behead the hen (only the shadow seen).

Rocky drinks something (we don't know the contents) and then makes a joke about a "cocktail" (where he puts a tail feather in a cup).

Some early scenes where Ginger tries to escape from the farm and must hide from Mr. Tweedy and his vicious looking guard dogs may be unsettling, tense or even scary for younger kids. In one scene, one of those dogs menacingly approaches a hen.
