Author: Stephen Verhaeren (Spwysteve@aol.com) from Palos Park, IL USA

If you are not old enough to see 3,000 Miles To Graceland, it or you did see it and disappointed by only hearing 3 of Elvis Presley's songs, or you don't like violence in movies or any other reason this is a good movie for you. You see a review that comedy-drama as the genre for this movie, this is not a comedy there is nothing funny about this movie. But more of a young man that picks up a hitchhiker that thinks he is the late king of rock 'n' roll. As the movie opens, Byron Gruman (Jonathon Schaech) who is haunted by his past because his wife died in a car crash. And he takes a little triip in his beat up car, and on his way to who know where he's going, he picks a hitchhiker that cliams to be the late Elvis Presley (Harvey Keitel) who wants to go home to Graceland. Byron smart as he is doesn't belive this stranger he picked up is Elvis. And why should he belive he is the late king of rock 'n' roll? Byron soon as car trouble when he lets Elvis take the wheel. Byron meets a Marilyn Monroe impersonator (Bridget Fonda) in a casino, who doesn't look like Marilyn Monroe without makeup and her wig. Note to parents this movie is rated PG-13.
