Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Violence & Gore

Violence is frequent and moderate but it is portrayed in a fantasy setting. Gorey instances are implied (e.g. blood in the water), but the injury detail is hidden from the viewer. One instance occurs when a character leg is shown to be severed, but it is shown from a distance so no injury detail is seen. There are frequent mortalities, but only a few are seen on screen. These instances of violence are intense and may be percepted as scary to children under eight or nine.

One instance of a man torn in half by two dinosaurs (T Rex) on camera.

A man is nearly covered by small dinosaurs. One bites his ear and another is tearing at his lip. This can be a disturbing scene to some.

Blood is shown going down a small water fall.

A man is attacked by an adult T-Rex. While this is happening, he screams "Wait!". He is later pounced then killed by a baby T-Rex (death is shown off-screen).

Profanity

Some occasional mild profanity: 4 instances of "damn it", 20 references to "God" in the various most common phrases, some may be considered more respectful than others, 3 instances of "sh**", 2 occurrences of "basta**", 1 instance of "son of a bit**".

One verbal reference is: "Your job is to sign the checks, tell us we're doing a good job, and open your case of scotch when we have a good day".

The Dinosaur attacks portray peril, threat and menace, but the fantasy setting does tone down these elements. These instances are intense and there is sustained peril in these sequences that may make them unsuitable for children under eight or nine. However, in some instances the outcome is reassuring and generally limited injury is shown other than a few cuts and bruises. There are one or two 'jumpy' moments, along with one prolonged sequence of dinosaurs chasing men. One man is pulled out of a cave by a T-Rex as he is screaming. His death is obscured by a waterfall, but we hear him stop screaming and bones crunch. A second later blood completely turns the waterfall to red.
