Trivia:

Steven Spielberg originally approached Juliette Binoche about playing the role of Sarah Harding. She supposedly replied that she would appear in the film only if she could "play the dinosaur". The part went to Julianne Moore instead. Binoche had previously declined the part of Dr. Satler in Jurassic Park (1993).

Goofs:

Crew or equipment visible: Near the end of the movie, we see people run by a store. As the camera tracks closer to the store's double doors, you can see the legs and shoes of the cameraman tracking in with his Steadicam.

Amazingly silly

Unbelievable mixture of the best dinosaur visuals of human history and completely brainless, unconvincing plot even worse than "One Million Years B.C." Perfect example of misery born from misguided commercialism. This is amazingly silly that you may enjoy it ironically.
