"The illusion has been just a dream..."

Having been a horror fan ever since birth (I exaggerate, but not by much), I've seen it all when it comes to movies. It takes something special to really impress or upset me. THE MANSON FAMILY managed to do both. I wasn't prepared at all for the infamous Tate/LaBianca reenactments, and I don't know if anyone ever could be. I applaud Jim Van Bebber, his cast and the crew for not taking the wimp route and giving us a sanitized version of the events. In my opinion, to date, this could possibly be the best film to depict the people who were willing to do anything at all for Charles Manson. And they did.

Not recommended for the faint of heart.
