Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

The film revolves around the pornography industry, and a couple of the sex scenes occur in the context of making films.

A couple of scenes show women topless. One scene includes full frontal female nudity as a woman prepares to have sex with a man while a second man watches intently. There are a couple of explicit sex scenes with moaning and thrusting.

There are two scenes that imply women giving a man oral sex.

There are two scenes of male masturbation (below the frame), one as an exhibit for another man who has paid for the performance.

A man exposes his genitalia. (In reality it's a prosthetic.)

Violence & Gore

A woman overdoses on cocaine; her nose bleeds heavily.

Action sequences seen in various film productions within the film; men shoot guns and slap women around, a man uses nunchucks.

A man shoots two people having sex off screen then turns the gun on himself. We see blood splatter onto the wall behind him.

A man throws violent, drug-induced, tantrums several times throughout the film.

A man is punched several times while on the ground then repeatedly has his head stomped on by a woman wearing rollerskates with bloody results.

A man is beaten up by several others; he is punched and kicked repeatedly while on the ground.

In one sequence, a man is shot in the chest, dead; an older man is also shot in the chest, dead; and another young man is shot in the back of the head, dead. Blood splatters all over.

In another sequence, men are shot at with a shotgun and handguns: a man is shot repeatedly in the torso with bloody results; a man is shot in the shoulder and stomach.

Profanity

The F-word is used about 171 times, and the S-word is used about thirty-three times.

There is pervasive use of vulgar and profane language.

There is sexual dialog throughout the film.

Drug addiction and related behavior is exhibited along with graphic substance abuse. There is also an overdose of cocaine resulting in bleeding from the nose and a seizure.

Many of the characters are smokers and social drinkers.

Many scenes take place at a nightclub where everyone is drinking.

A scene showing a man committing suicide with a gun is designed to make the audience jump and flinch.

An woman's overdose on cocaine may disturb some viewers.

Two scenes involving multiple shootings are quite shocking.

The two scenes of men being beaten up are intercut so that they are very intense. The music only intensifies the shock of that sequence.
