During the filming of one scene the controls for the animatronic Anaconda shorted out, causing it to completely lose control. Some of the footage is included in the movie.

Goofs:

Continuity: When Danny climbs aboard the boat they discover, his shoes and pants aren't wet, although he swam to the boat. His shoes don't leave marks on the deck either.

Stupid

Considering the fact that Jennifer Lopez doesn't look sexy in her role as Terry I have to say that there is nothing good about this movie, apart from the setting - the Amazon river is really beautiful and quite well photographed.

Everything else is stupid: Jon Voight's unconvincing acting, Jonathan Hyde's semi-funny character, the plot itself and the screenplay that gives the actors no other opportunity than screaming and being really scared. And what does rapper Ice Cube do in a horror film?
