Bad,bad, terrible True Romance ripoff....awful, 22 July 2005

Caught this one on cable as I was going to bed. This is just awful even for Mr. C Thomas! First off the guy that "stumbles" into the diner where C Thomas, his girlfriend, and his mustache work; he tells the waitress that everyone he loves thinks he has been doing construction for 15 years, but that really he has been a gangster for 15 years. Now this is fine and all except for the fact the guy can't be more than 30 years old, so you're telling me he's been a gangster since 15? This is where the film seems like C Thomas and his cohorts got drunk, watched True Romance and decided to write their own "Taritinoesque" screenplay, complete with the worst stereotyped gangsters one could find. The dialog is riddled with racial slurs left and right, in a Tarantino film it would be understood that this is how some piece of sh!t criminals talk; here it just feels like C Thomas and company sprinkled the "n" word around liberally in hopes that someone might mistake it for hip banter from a Tarantino picture...and I think by now you probably get the point that this is a worthless thievery of a film. So please Mr. Howell stop trying to be relevant already....
