Reese Witherspoon is the key to this movie. She is funny, beautiful, and can act better than just about every new face in the recent string of horror movies (which all suck in one way or another). Paul Rudd just seems too foolish when compared to her onscreen, but they can play off each other fine.
The plot seems like it could happen in real life, but the situations this couple runs into on the way just seems too far fetched when you take it all in. But I don't care. This isn't a movie that spent dozens of hours running through the plot and referencing with logic. It was made of for laughs and that's exactly what it delivers.
