Trivia:

'Brian Henson (I)' was nervous that the whole cast and crew would get motion sick as the ship rolled on the gimbals. He gave everyone seasickness pills for the first day of the shoot, and not only did the cast and crew not get seasick but they almost fell asleep on the job.

Goofs:

Revealing mistakes: When the "Cabin Boys" first meet Long John, he tells them the story of how he lost his leg. We then see it tied behind his back.

Interesting spoof

Muppet Treasure Island is a funny spoof of the classic story. Tim Curry stands out, and plays the part of Long John Silver very well. Using the Muppets to play the parts of the classic characters makes it all the more fun. Muppet Treasure Island is by far not the best Muppet film ever, but it is good and enjoyable.
