Trivia:

Tim Curry had been a huge fan of Muppets for years before doing this movie. And has stated in many interviews he regards this role as one of his favorite roles.

Goofs:

Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Captain Smollett, (Kermit), arrives at the dock to board the ship at the start of the movie, he is Piped "The Side" by Sam the Eagle. The Side would not be used for a Captain's rank. It is only used for the King or Queen, members of the Royal Family (when in uniform), foreign naval officers and Royal Naval Officers of Flag Rank (Rear-Admiral, Vice Admiral, Admiral, or Admiral of the Fleet).

Awsome Muppet Adventure. I don't care how many people hate this movie, I still think it's smart, funny, and amazing. The muppets still have it. Though I agree by most by saying it's not the best Muppet movie, it sure beats the hell outta "The great muppet caper" (How slow was that movie?!). Tim Curry, the greatest and most under rated musical preformer alive, is at his element here. The music is awsome and his one song ("Upstage Lads, this is me only number!") is awsome. This is a good movie. For a pirate movie, and a muppet movie.
