Trivia:

"RFK 575" is the license plate used in the film for the dead terrorist's car. It's also the license plate used by Derek Zoolander's roommate in Zoolander (2001) and in a car in Final Destination (2000).

Goofs:

Factual errors: Charly breaks free from her frozen prison by blowing off a heavy metal door. We see that the explosion bursts through at least two ceilings. Between the explosion and the ensuing crater, it seems highly unlikely anyone upstairs could have survived - or for that matter, left the basement through all the rubble.

Quotes:

Mitch: You're telling me that you're gonna fake some terrorist thing, just to scare some money out of Congress?
Leland Perkins: Well, unfortunately, Mr. Hennessey, I have no idea how to fake killing 4,000 people - so we're just gonna have to do it for real. Blame it on the Muslims, naturally. Then I get my funding.

Definite must see for all action fans.

Why this movie did so poorly is beyond me. With movies like the Waterboy and anything else Sandler does making millions, you have this true gem of a film. Geena Davis is radiant and I feel, convincing in a very physical action role. Step aside Sigourney. Samuel L. Jackson is and always an asset to what ever project he works on.

Sit back and enjoy. But with all movies of this genre ,place tongue firmly in cheek, because "WHOA", there's some stretching going on in here.

A true action fans delight. 8 out of 10.
